Design Proposal
In order to proceed further in executing this project, I conducted a design proposal report consist of the project's idea, concepts and inspirations which is compiled below:

The idea for this packaging is okay and make sure that when executing it, the box is foldable and also serves the purpose of hanging it at the shelf efficiently. Also, when designing the label, focus on it being elegant and expensive when hence, make black and gold as the primary colour of the product.
Experience
Throughout the weeks of completing this project, I experienced some printing issues which is the effect of stamping I would want. It wasn't easy as some of the shops require minimum amounts and some took longer than I expected. Nevertheless, I managed to get the gold stamping done as they were the feature of this packaging.
Observation
Besides finishing the project at ease, I observed that packaging that relates the men hair grooming products were not widely experimented though the stated price might be expensive. Also, I noticed that the labels were not properly designed for this particular product and I felt that it is not worth paying for with the price of it the reason because of the placement of these labels did not provide the mood and feel of a luxurious product.

Sketches
The sketches for this particular project focused on the functionality and layouts of the packaging which is the hanging shelf. The sketches explores more on the possible measurements, die-lines and how does the shelf itself works. Also, I did a few rough sketches on the label's illustrations as well to have an overview of these possible ideas.
Progressions
Stage One: Die-Line Mock
Before starting to design the labels and surface of the packaging, I started to build a rough mock on the packaging according the measurements that I have in order to check the legibility of the size, stability and its functionality. Then, I proceeded with the experiments of materials in order to check the packaging's durability that holds the product and making sure it functions as a hanging shelf well.

Stage Two: Surface design and Illustrations
I begin with illustrating surface design of the packaging first, with two different options. The style that I am going for is contemporary art deco the reason because I believe that these illustrations could give a sophisticated and luxury ambience of the packaging also at the same time, stylish. These illustration were mainly minimal, and only focuses two main colours which is black and gold, thus reflects the tone and manner of the product that is which is elegant and manly.
Stage 4 : The Product

Findings
I found out that setting up the packaging, specifically the rigid box can be tough the reason because these finishing might not turn up from what I have expected. Also, I found that designing an innovative packaging require more time than I expected the reason because we were to create an innovative product whilst focusing the stated target audience.
