Reflection 

Experience 
Throughout the semester, I experienced a lot of new learning outcomes from both the lecturer and the module as well. Like for an example, the type of existing packagings, the process and how was it made. Also, this module opened my eyes in looking the other creative packaging so they can enrich my knowledge for this current module. Not only that, having this module for the semester also gained my experience in experimenting different mode of printing and finishing especially in Project 2 though it did not turn out as what I would imagine it to be. 


Observation 
For this module, I observed that my sense of design towards packaging has improved as well as the skills for observations which is to study the design of any packaging design that I encountered. Besides, I also noticed that my sense of precision is improved day by day as I happen to encounter the packaging design that were considered good and creative as well.

Findings 
In completion of this module, I found out that Packaging and Merchandising Design's module helped me throughly in making sure that cleanliness and finishing is important as it could affect the impression of any designed product. On top of that, I found that the existing packaging design in Malaysia isn't as creative and bold enough compared to the others which thus affects the impression of target audience to buy the particular product. Hence, I strongly believe that the impression has to be changed by implementing creative designs in a packaging design so it will look convincing and believable.
